Wear Blue for Charlie Day

I’ve already said I’ll be wearing blue for Charlie every day in April but that won’t raise a huge amount of money for the Charlie Cookson Foundation.  So I’ve organised a Wear Blue for Charlie Day at work.

It’s going to be on Monday 18 April and I hope that lots of people will join in.  And to raise more money we’re going to have a cake sale and book sale on the same day.

And to promote the event I’ll be putting a poster up around the building and asking friends and colleagues to do the same in their workplaces.

It’s not the best poster in the world (I’m clearly never going to be a graphic designer or artist) but it’s bright and has a lovely picture of Charlie on it so hopefully will attract plenty of attention.

If you’re planning something similar in your workplace feel free to use or adapt my poster to promote your event.

Blue is the colour – Day 6

With very little sleep last night and the rain pouring down this morning I’m feeling blue today as well as wearing blue.

So I’ll keep this short.  Here’s today’s outfit.  Oh and it’s the one that fell in the bath on Monday morning.

I look dreadful but at least I’m raising funds for the Charlie Cookson Foundation

Blue is the colour – Day 5

After yesterday’s all navy outfit I wanted something a bit brighter today for my pledge to Wear Blue for Charlie every day in April.  So I decided to go for something that’s not all blue and has lots of different shades of blue.

I bought this dress a few months ago and only wore it once because I really didn’t feel comfortable in it so I was taking a bit of a risk.

But it turns out that the weight I’ve lost as part of my Winners Lose challenge (also to raise money for the Charlie Cookson Foundation) is beginning to show and I don’t think I look too bad.

Feel free to disagree if you think I look a bit like mutton dressed as lamb but please don’t be too horrible – after all this is all for charity.
