This is perhaps the hardest challenge on my list. Losing two stone in a year is hard but as we’re nearly halfway through the year and I haven’t started it’s going to be even harder than I intended. So here goes. It’s time to make a start. I’ve weighed myself and it’s a disaster. I’ve got a long way to go and I’m going to have to be really strict with myself. But I am determined to do it. Find out about my efforts, successes and failures at Winners lose.
Thank You, Thank You and Thank You again to everyone who sponsored me to do the Boxing Day Dip to raise funds for the Charlie Cookson Foundation. And just in case I don’t get to thank everyone individually I thought I’d say thanks to each and everyone of you on here. So here goes.
Thank you so much to……………
Amber Ahmed, Ann Bridges, Anne Tunnah, Cath McGuinness, Chris Haywood, Claire Lancaster, David Ball, David Longstaff, Dawn Smith, Diane Peacock, Gill Hale, Gill Toward, Gillian Hewitson, Guy Collis, Jane Yugire, Joanne Meliah, Joanne Nicholson, Joel Hamilton, Josie Bird, Julie Campbell, Karen English, Ken Oliver, Kit England, Laura Tulip, Lisa Foot, Liz Gregson, Liz Reay, Liz Webber, Lori Ashbridge, Louise Crosby, Louise Reeve, Lynda Hardie, Neil Marsden, Nicky Ramanandi, Orla Longstaff, Paul Shields, Peter Williams, Phil Hunter, Phillippa Scrafton, Rachel Archbold, Richard Ellliot, Ruben Hamilton, Sarah Ledger, Shayma Haque, Simone Doyle, Stephen Powers, Stephen Mead, Steve Brown, Steve Park, Sue Foster, Sue Praszazack, Susan Ball, Suzanne Williams, Tina Roche, Ulela Kaferawanthu, Val Suddes, Veronica Dunn, Vicki Wilkinson and Wendy Aitman
With your help I’ve raised an amazing £458. I want to get all the money in by the end of January so please make your donations at www.justgiving.com/5iftyby5ifty or give me the cash next time you see me.
And if you want proof that I actually did it check out the video below
Only two more sleeps to Christmas and I’m still not ready
But what worries me more is it’s only three more sleeps until Boxing Day.
For most people Boxing Day is a time to chill out and relax. But for me and 40 others it really will be the time to chill or should I say freeze. Because on Boxing Day we will be walking, running or diving into the North Sea to raise funds for the Charlie Cookson Foundation.
Will this really keep me warm?
My wonderful family and friends have already committed over £250 in sponsorship but I want to do better than that. I’m aiming for a target of at least £400. If you haven’t already sponsored me now is the time to do it. It couldn’t be easier just
email me with how much you want to sponsor me for and pay after Christmas; or
tell me on Facebook how much you want to sponsor me for and pay after Christmas
I know it’s an expensive time of year. But dig deep and give whatever you can spare. Even it’s just for the pleasure of seeing me make a fool of myself even when I haven’t been drinking.
You can find out more about the Boxing Day Dip here or why not come down to Seaburn on Boxing Day and see what it’s all about.
