Blue is the colour – Day 29

It’s taken me a while to decide if the dress I’m wearing today is really suitable for #wearblueforcharlie.

It’s not all blue.  I’m not even sure it’s mainly blue.  But I’m running out of blue clothes and want to keep something for tomorrow – as it’s the last day for a while that I’ll be wearing blue.

So I looked at this dress again

29.04016

and decided it would be ok.  It’s got several different shades of blue in it – sky blue, aqua blue, turquoise blue and navy blue – so it’s got to count as wearing something blue doesn’t it?

I’ll donate £1 to the Charlie Cookson Foundation for wearing this dress unless you tell me it’s not blue – then I’ll donate £2.  So to use the famous reality show words “You decide”.

Let me know what you think and I promise to go with the majority decision.

Only 2 days left so now really is the time to help me raise funds for @CharlieCookson1

Blue is the colour – Day 28

Today is the last day that I have to #wearblueforcharlie at work (I’m working from home tomorrow) and I only had 4 outfits left to choose from.

A denim dress that’s kind of split in the middle and is probably more fitted to the beach – that’s a no.

A navy satin cocktail dress which is very nice for a semi-formal dinner or a birthday party – really not for work.

A bright blue and black lace short dress that clings in all the right places and makes me look quite thin – very much a favourite for a night on the town but it’s not right without a glass of prosecco in my hand – not the best look for work.

So I went for this blue crochet dress

Not something I would normally wear for work but hopefully I can get away with it as everyone knows I’m doing this for the amazing Charlie Cookson Foundation.

Only 3 days left so now really is the time to help me raise funds for @CharlieCookson1

Blue is the colour – Day 27

I don’t really need to #wearblueforcharlie today.  It’s so freezing that I’m blue.  So it feels like the need to wear something blue is almost optional.

But of course I’m not giving up – even though I’m quickly running out of blue outfits – which you can probably tell from today’s dress.

27.04.16

It’s not that I don’t like the dress – I do.  It’s just that it still feels a little bit too tight.  But it was either this, pyjamas or a bikini – so I guess I’ll just have to go with struggling to breathe to raise awareness of and funds for the Charlie Cookson Foundation.

With only 3 days left to go it looks like things are only going to get harder.  So I’m hoping a few of you might help me raise funds for @CharlieCookson1 by
