Guess the name – before it’s too late

A couple of weeks ago I launched a competition to win this cute bunny and raise funds for the Charlie Cookson Foundation

Bunny

Now I haven’t really been very good at promoting it so I thought I’d give people a last chance to enter.

Click here and follow the instructions to choose your name before Wednesday 11 April.

Remember – You’ve got to be in it to win it

Lose to win – Week 14

I’ve done a bit of experimental cooking this week.  Using more and different spices to those I normally use to add a bit of flavour to my food.

While tandoori chicken and chicken tikka have long been favourites I’ve never made Cajun chicken myself – and it was delicious.

I’ve also been trying adding a few things to crystal noodle soup for lunch – I’m not usually a big fan of soup but this was delicious.

But I wasn’t sure what impact this would have on my diet until I stepped on the scales this morning.  And the result is………..

12st 4lb

That’s another 2 pound off and another £2 for the Charlie Cookson Foundation.  And it means I’ve only got 6 pound to go to have hit my target of losing 2 stone before my birthday in August – maybe I need to rethink my goal!!

Tip of the week – spices are a dieters best friend

If you’re impressed with my success you can add to my £’s for pounds at www.justgiving.com/5iftyby5ifty or to donate by phone text FIFB50 £1 to 70070

Blue is the colour – Day 30

I’ve done it – as everyone agreed the dress I wore yesterday was blue enough – I’ve worn a different something blue everyday for a month.

And I’m not giving in today even though I don’t have many blue clothes left.

I really didn’t want to spend the day in my pyjamas – I have to go out.

I certainly didn’t want to wear a bikini – to cold for me and to scary for anyone who sees me.

So with the choices very limited I’ve gone for the denim dress that’s kind of split in the middle that I decided couldn’t wear for work on Day 28.

Yes, I know it’s more suitable for the beach or a casual summer night out.

Yes, I know it’s raining and probably about to snow again

And yes, I know I look fat – but not as fat as I would in a bikini

So I’m donating £1 to the Charlie Cookson Foundation for every day in April except Day 9.  Because that day I didn’t just #wearblueforcharlie but wore 2 different blue outfits – so as promised I’ll donate £2 for that day.

That £31 from me.  With other donations and Wear Blue for Charlie Day at work that’s a grand total of………………….

£254 and counting.

Only 1 day left but it’s not to late to support @CharlieCookson1

Do it today – wear something blue
