After last weeks narrow escape, only 1 pound on after eating just about everything you shouldn’t when you’re on a diet, I was a bit nervous for my weigh-in this week. As anyone who has ever tried to lose weight will know it sometimes takes a few days to catch up with you.
But I’ve been pretty good, apart from the McDonald’s Happy Meal for tea with Mis-Chief and Monster Munch on Wednesday. Although I was fairly certain a Happy Meal couldn’t have done that much harm I was still very nervous as I headed towards the scales.
My goal was to lose the pound I’d put on last week. Anything else would be a benefit. Surely that couldn’t be too hard? Surely I must have managed to get back to the position I was in two weeks ago?
And the result is……………………
Not only have I lost the pound I put on but amazingly I’ve lost another 2 pound. That’s an amazing 3lb this week and 12lb in total. That’s another £3 for the Charlie Cookson Foundation and only got 2lb to go before I’ve lost my first stone. And if that doesn’t spur me on then I don’t know what will.
