With only 5 days of my #wearblueforcharlie month left its getting harder. Today I’ve had what is probably the toughest time yet deciding what to wear because
- I’m running out of blue clothes
- I’m working from home so can go casual but have no casual blue clothes left
- It looks lovely and sunny outside but is forecast to snow
- I really just want to stay under my duvet and do nothing but I have to work
With great difficulty I dragged myself out of bed, looked in the wardrobe for a blue outfit and dismissed them all and went back to bed.
So half an hour later I started all over again. Jumped joyfully out of bed (not really) and looked in the wardrobe again. And there right at the back was this dress.
It’s not overly casual but is comfortable. It’s not designed for snow but if I go out I can through a cardigan over the top. It’s not a summer dress but cool enough if the winter (yes I know it’s nearly May but it feels like winter) sun shines through the window and warms the house up.
If I’m honest I’d forgotten about this dress. It used to be a bit of a favourite but has seen better days. I thought I’d thrown it out ages ago but am really pleased I didn’t as it means I can keep on wearing blue every day in April and raising money for the Charlie Cookson Foundation.
With only 4 days left to go it looks like things are only going to get harder. So I’m hoping a few of you might help me raise funds for @CharlieCookson1 by
Wearing something blue and donating by texting FIFB50 £1 to 70070
or by
Holding a Wear Blue for Charlie Day in your workplace before it’s too late
